[fa icon="plus-square"]Why is NFT.NYC 2024 in April?

NFT.NYC is an annual event. It started in February 2019. 

The 2021 date was postponed to November due to Covid. 

The 2022 date was in June due to Covid and the addition of NFT.London. 

Many community members asked us to move NFT.NYC to one central venue in 2023 - North Javits only had availability in April.

[fa icon="plus-square"]What to expect during NFT.NYC 2024?

Attendees can expect a jam pack schedule of excitement this year. NFT.NYC 2024 kicks off with Registration Day on April 2nd, where attendees pick up their badge and claim sponsor merch. That same evening we have our VIP and Speaker Reception and Times Square Roadblock (come catch out NFTs on billboards in Times Square). On April 3rd - 5th the main event kicks off with programming where industry thought leaders will share their insight on stage. The event will also have many partner activations, exhibits and treasure hunts. NFT.NYC 2024 will continue with our Artist Showcase and live performances.

[fa icon="plus-square"]What do I receive for a $599 GA ticket?

NFT.NYC is a community event and is costing over $10M+ to produce. Sponsors and ticket sales fund the event.

We strive to offer a high level of value for our attendees by offering a diverse and expert speaker lineup, valuable networking opportunities, and access to official satellite events. Registration also includes complimentary food and beverage throughout the three-day event.

Each attendee receives a commemorative NFT ticket stub by a featured NFT artist, included in the Community Artist Showcase. 

If a Community member is not able to purchase a ticket - there are several ways for community members who contribute to receive a complementary ticket: 

  1. A Speaker 

  2. A Volunteer

  3. An Artist in the Community Showcase

[fa icon="plus-square"]How do I transfer my ticket to a friend if I’m unable to make it to the event?

Eventbrite allows you to easily transfer your ticket to someone else, using their full name and email address.

[fa icon="plus-square"]I purchased my ticket with cryptocurrency. What happens next?

Crypto orders are processed via our Shopify backend (you should have received a confirmation email or test message when you ordered).

Your ticket is held for you on Eventbrite (where we reconcile all registrations) and we will issue you a link to complete registration shortly.

NFT.NYC is committed to the health and safety of our attendees.

Indoor Conference events in New York City must abide by local health guidelines.

Such requirements are subject to change - We suggest that all attendees remain abreast of the local health guidelines directly from the NYC.Gov Department of Health website, linked below.

Yes, each speaker needs to submit a separate speaker application.

Eventbrite allows you to easily transfer your ticket to someone else, using their full name and email address.

[fa icon="plus-square"]Can you tell me when I will be speaking?

The NFT.NYC 2024 program will be settled in March. We will then follow up with approved Speakers to confirm the time and format (Panel or Talk) of their sessions.

[fa icon="plus-square"]Is the event recorded/streamed? Are people able to record/stream?

We will record select sessions and upload the videos to our YouTube channel - NFT.NYC/youtube

We will not be streaming the event this year.

[fa icon="plus-square"]Another speaker from my company would like to speak as well. Can they join me?

NFT.NYC is a community event. We are committed to including as many great speakers in our programming as possible.

Only approved speakers will be permitted on stage.

[fa icon="plus-square"]What do I receive as a speaker?

1 VIP Speaker Ticket valued at $1499. The VIP Speaker Ticket includes an invitation to the VIP and Speaker Dinner, daily lunch, and full access to the conference.

No, we do not pay speakers. 

We are committed to including as many great speakers in our programming as possible.

Approved and Confirmed Speakers:

  1. Receive an invitation to the VIP and Speaker Dinner held on April 11 at no charge.

  2. Have access to the daily VIP and Speaker lunch and lounge.

  3. Receive personalized Speaker NFTs that attendees can claim. 

  4. Are featured on the NFT.NYC website.

[fa icon="plus-square"]How are speakers selected?
  1. Speakers are chosen for their thought leadership and passion for NFTs.
  2. Celebrity status is not a criterion.
  3. Company product pitches are not approved for panels or ten-minute talks.

    We allow applicants to indicate their preferred speaking lengths when applying, and we do our best to accommodate these preferences.

    To accommodate as many great speakers as possible, we may group similar talks into panels.

    Speakers are notified of their session topic and speaking format (panel or solo talk) in the month leading up to the event. 
[fa icon="plus-square"]Why are there over a thousand speakers at NFT.NYC?

We are very proud to include Featured Speakers and passionate community members. 

Some stages will have CEOs and Founders of the largest companies in the space, and other stages will have rising star community members.

One of our core values since the event’s inception in 2019 has been to provide a platform and give the NFT community a voice. 

We have recently updated our programming to make it easier for attendees to navigate Featured Speakers and NFT topics by track.

[fa icon="plus-square"]What is an NFT Swag Bag?

In partnership with NFT.Kred , NFT.NYC will again be releasing its annual NFT "Swag Bag" to NFT.NYC 2023 attendees.

The NFT.NYC NFT Swag Bag helps sponsors, speakers and other partners of NFT.NYC to share custom NFTs with attendees of the event.

Sponsors and Partners are invited to contribute a special NFT to be shared with the community.

Submissions may be collectible or include a redeemable offer (eg. a discount, download or the ability to schedule a meeting).

After submission the NFT.NYC team will mint approved NFTs on the IMX blockchain and share them with the community.

The NFT.NYC 2023 NFT Awards celebrate and share recognition of community-selected NFT projects in various categories.

The Third Annual NFT Awards will take place in April 2023, hosted in partnership with NFT.Kred and others to be announced.

Yes! NFT.NYC is a community event and committed to creating a great attendee experience. Sponsors who bring their own merch will be able to share with attendees from their Demo Table or the main merch area.

[fa icon="plus-square"]How are NFT.NYC speakers selected? What is the criteria?

We select speakers from the leading NFT projects in the space. They are selected primarily for their thought-leadership of NFT uses and include individuals from a diverse range of industries such as: startup founders, developers, lawyers, designers, artists, musicians, marketers and more.

  1. Speakers are chosen for their thought leadership and passion for NFTs.
  2. Celebrity status is not a criterion.
  3. Company product pitches are not approved for panels or ten-minute talks.

Yes.

If your speaker has not registered or has not provided their speaker information here, your company will not be included in the program. You will still be featured as a sponsor.
