OpenSea at NFT.NYC 2025
We're excited to welcome OpenSea back as a foundation sponsor for NFT.NYC 2025. Their newly launched OS2 platform represents a significant step forward for the NFT ecosystem—where tools are becoming more intuitive, infrastructure more robust, and opportunities more rewarding.

SEC News: Michael Selig returning as a Speaker at NFT.NYC
Michael Selig, who first joined us on stage at NFT.NYC 2019, returns this year with a new perspective and a critical role: Chief Counsel of the SEC Crypto Task Force.
At a time when clarity and collaboration between innovators and regulators matter more than ever, Michael will share insights on the evolving landscape of crypto and NFTs in the eyes of the SEC.

Michael Hafftka Bridges 1981 and the Bitcoin Blockchain
Artist Michael Hafftka has inscribed his Cosmic Cat with 9 Lives and the 12-piece collection Incisions as Ordinals on the Bitcoin blockchain. These works, originally created in 1981, are housed in major institutions including the MoMA and the British Museum.
What makes Incisions especially significant is how it reintroduces historical, institutionally recognized art into the digital realm—authenticating legacy through emerging technology.
It’s a rare convergence of past and present, tradition and innovation—and a powerful reflection of how artists are reviving their own archives for a new generation of collectors.

Round 2 Speaker submissions continued to impress!
A few standouts are Kayvon (CEO of Foundation), Naz (CEO of Remx) and David Pakman (Managing Partner of Coinfund) who will give his annual "State of NFTs" presentation.

Standing Together in Uncertain Times
Back in 2021, we learned the art of the pivot. Back then the world was shifting beneath our feet due to new COVID variants and lingering travel advisories. We navigated those changes through juggled dates and adapted formats to bring our community together—safely and meaningfully.
This year we're facing new challenges, from international travel advisories to state-of-emergency executive orders. Our spirit remains the same; adapt and put the community first.
What’s Changing
- The event will now take place over 2 days instead of our typical three-day schedule. With fewer overseas sponsors, speakers and attendees able to join in person this June, we've streamlined the experience to fit into a tighter, more impactful schedule.
- High-quality recordings will be available quickly for our international community members who can’t make it to New York—because being part of the conversation shouldn't be limited by geography.
- New General Admission Ticket pricing starts at $299, thanks to incredible support from our venue partner—available until June 1st.
Why It's Changing
US Tourism is down—something you may have seen in recent headlines. In true community spirit, the Times Square Marriott Marquis (our trusted partner since our amazing 2022 June event) stepped up with major concessions to welcome the NFT.NYC community back.
Their generosity allows us to reduce costs, and we’re committed to passing those savings directly to you, including discounted accommodation.
