A bit about the role: 

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a core part of the team. You will collaborate with the team to master system designs and modern software architectural patterns. You will drive the improvement of scalability and infrastructure to account for the significant growth of Guild of Guardians.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist in the technical direction of the team along with Senior leadership.

A bit about the role: 

Immutable’s Studio Portfolio Games Department has a mission to provide white-glove services to high-potential games being built on Immutable’s protocol.

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Central Tech Team and work in close collaboration with our Portfolio Games team. The Portfolio Games team has dedicated resources to work day-to-day with partners, designing and executing their web3 strategy in order to bring their games to market.

You will be responsible for working with a cross-functional team of designers, product lead, and other engineers to ensure the successful scoping and implementation of these products.
You will build out APIs and services core to our Game Platform that interact with our Immutable X Platform and the network.

Reporting into the Group Product Manager in our Consumer Products group, you'll take ownership of launching a gaming identity for gamers to carry seamlessly across all IMX games and marketplaces. You'll have overall responsibility for building the product and strategy to ensure that our Identity product is a market leader adopted by games and marketplaces.

This is a rare opportunity to own a consumer facing product targeting a global market of users in a high growth, greenfield industry!

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Own the overall strategy & vision of the IMX Identity, including how we position and brand ourselves in the market, and how we develop a secure and seamless identity experience that drives usage and adds to liquidity on the protocol

Responsibilities

  • Help assess and respond to complex regulatory inquiries, as well as help identify and execute (through our partners in Trust & Safety, Product, ENG, or directly in Legal) solutions to help mitigate key areas of legal risk
  • Provide legal and compliance advice on the development, improvement, and maintenance of risk management programs, particularly in the areas of securities, sanctions, and money laundering
  • Assist with law enforcement matters
  • Provide product, operations, and community teams guidance on day-to-day issues, as well as foundational legal issues without clear solutions
