In a speech on May 19th SEC Commissioner Hester M. Peirce made this comment:
"Many non-fungible tokens (“NFTs”) also are not securities, including NFTs designed to compensate their creators over time."

SEC Chairman - Supporting NFT innovation
Last week, SEC Chairman Paul S. Atkins led a roundtable discussion on tokenization. During his keynote address, Paul stated "[The] movement of securities from off-chain to on-chain systems is akin to the transition of audio recordings from analog vinyl records to cassette tapes to digital software decades ago."
His speech provided a hopeful message to organizations experimenting with blockchain-based systems including NFTs. Paul and the SEC Crypto Task Force have been providing positive sentiment regarding tokenization since their appointment earlier this year.

Round 3 speaker submissions took a bit longer, however they were well worth the wait!
A few standouts include Artist Pindar Van Arman, Arthur Madrid the CEO of Sandbox and Artist Post Wook who speak about Art on the Bitcoin Blockchain.
Look forward to seeing all these stellar speakers on stage in June.

What NFT Artists Told Us: Preliminary Survey Insights Ahead of NFT.NYC 2025
NFT Artists have led the NFT revolution.
At NFT.NYC, we’ve spent the past 7 years featuring NFT Artists — from showcasing their work on Times Square billboards to curating immersive galleries and spotlighting creators across NYC’s most iconic venues.
As we prepare for our June 25–26 event, we turned directly to the Artist Community to listen, learn, and shape what comes next.
167 Artists were invited to share their thoughts in a preliminary survey to help us better serve NFT Creators. 70 Artists responded, offering valuable insights into how we can improve event programming, promotion opportunities, and upcoming platform features.
